Washington, DC
This is of course the capital city of the United States. It is also fairly unique with this "district" status. Postal code and abbreviation DC (District of Columbia) is for most administrative purposes analogous to the postal codes used for the various American states. Relative to this factor it may be unique in that the "district" seems to the share the exact land mass of the area designated by the postal code.
