Spencer Heath was an aero inventor and propeller expert in Washington, DC (Clinton Avenue, Woodridge) and Baltimore (243—249, East Hamburg Street – this block looks like it was rebuilt as w:Southern High School (Baltimore, Maryland), which wikipedia curiously says was built in 1910.)

He founded the American Propeller and Manufacturing Company around 1910-12 first in DC then moved it to Baltimore. This company "manufactured 75 percent of all propellers used by America in World War I."[1][2]

There are many patents in google identified with him that we don't have here yet.

enwp cites his publications:

  • Spencer Heath (October 1910). "Propeller Design and Construction". Aeronautics: 112.
  • "American Propeller and Manufacturing Company's new plant". Aerial Age Weekly. 26 August 1916.
