This firm was founded by Gaston Caudron and René Caudron.

The Compagnie Franco-Roumaine de Navigation Aérienne, in 1924, goes on to produce a three-motor Caudron passenger plane. The last aircraft produced were gliders built in 1946.

British Caudron produced Sopwith Camels under contract.

Gaston died in aircraft accident 1915.
