Ernst Heinrich Heinkel, also known as simply Ernst Heinkel, born 24 January 1888 in Grunbach and deceased 30 January 1958 in Stuttgart, was a German aeronautical engineer, founder of Heinkel aircraft factories and designer of airplanes of the same name.[1]

German patent data has him located in Travemünde, Germany.[2]

Upon the founding of Brandenburgische Flugzeugwerke, Ignaz Etrich had brought Heinkel with him from Liebau, with Heinkel as his chief designer.[3]

Other German patent data has his filing as "Firma Ernst Heinkel, Flugzeugwerke in Warnemünde".[4]

Heinkel is mentioned in Melzer, 2020.

British Ernst Heinkel Espacenet results with no publication date restraints show an Ernst Heinkel Aktiengesellschaft addressed at 41 Hellmuth-Hirth-Strasse, Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, Germany, active in the 1960s.

British Ernst Heinkel Espacenet results up through 1930 show solid aero patent material derivative of mid-late 1920s German filings. This applies as well to Spanish descendant patents.
