This is the patent to which reference is made in Patent FR-1909-399458. Several other patents are clear descendants of this patent, though they make no similar reference. In the case of all the others, Arthur Henry Edwards filed in collaboration with Martin Diederich Rucker, though the latter is not mentioned on this patent or on Patent FR-1909-399458. Most or all of these later patents filed collaboratively have eleven diagrams and are otherwise more elaborate. Perhaps this is in the nature of the collaboration.
