Patent GB-1909-123
Described as a compromise between the rigid and non-rigid styles of dirigible. A key element is a reinforced beam traveling across the length of the balloon.
The car carrying the motor, the propellers and the aeronauts, is suspended in accordance with the rules established by Dupuy de Lome, and this car thus situated relatively to the keeled balloon permits of locating the propeller or propellers either in front or behind, laterally at various heights and even between the keel and the car.
