Pierre Georges Albert Levasseur[1][2], born 16 July 1890 in Paris[3][4] and deceased 2 August 1941 in Paris[5][6][7][8].

He entered into aeronautic design and construction at nineteen years of age, when he presented the first « Salon de la locomotion aérienne » of 1909, at which he revealed from that 25th of September to that 17th of October, a propeller adaptable to the helicopter[9][10].

He incorporated the firm Pierre Levasseur Constructions Aéronautiques, with a major emphasis on biplanes. Much of his work, including that on L'Oiseau blanc as seen on French Wikipedia, followed later than the years on which we are most focused.

We have him located at 47, rue d'Hauteviller, Paris[11], and later at 17 Place Félix Faure, Paris, France[12]. This latter location is incidentally that of the firm Pierre Levasseur Constructions Aéronautiques.
