That is,

  • The attack of air or fluid by the concave shell-shaped surface of the propeller pallets.
  • The widths of the propeller are increasing from the shaft to the periphery, the thickness being constant.

Here again we have "pallets" as a fairly standardized term for the structure holding the propeller mechanism. The above aerodynamic specifications vary somewhat from others of Pierre Levasseur. Levasseur does well with the articulation of these specifications. The more ordinary French for "pallets" is "palette", even with the work of Levasseur himself.
