Henri Lachambre

Henri Lachambre was an aero inventor and LTA-aircraft maker. He supplied balloons to many national governments and celebrities; he built the Örnen for Salomon August Andrée.[1][2]

From 1889, Lachambre worked with his nephew Alexis Machuron. Their atelier was known was the Manufacture d'Aérostats de Vaugirard, and perhaps by some other names as well.[2]

Lachambre was on committees preparing for the 1900 Exposition universelle and the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair.
