Manufacture d'Aérostats de Vaugirard

The Manufacture d'Aérostats de Vaugirard was founded by Henri Lachambre in 1875. It produced aerostats for customers internationally and 150,000 toy balloons annually for carnival, as well as mobile hydrogen production stations and full equipment for display and transport of captive balloons.[1]

The workshop's location, Vaugirard, is now part of the 15th arrondissement of Paris.
