Patent FR-1914-464461 Original Diagram

(This has to do with rotating blades, effectively a propeller oriented towards lift and propulsion. Reference is made to "machines aériennes ou hydro-aériennes", though this may not be an airplane per se, or a hydroplane. "coque" has many uses bordering between slang and metaphor, ultimately leading towards "shell", or merely "cover". The rotating disk moving the blades is compered to a bicycle wheel, and the "coque" reduces air resistance to either blade rotation or overall forward motion. This also assures the "flottabilité" of the aircraft.

(propulsion is achieved via an apparatus which allows for the inclination, at will, of the rotational axis of the "wings of the blade", for our purposes "blades of the propeller", relative to the axis of the blade itself.

(Though this is specifically not a certificate of addition, reference is made "to the patent of last 16 August", likely a filing date of 16 August 1912. This is likely Lacoste's non-per-se-aeronautic "Ferme pour constructions métalliques" which we would designate Patent FR-1913-458811, and which has to do with avoiding the resistance to rotational mechanical processes, thereby avoiding and resulting damage and inefficiency.)
