There are pairs of witnesses both on the final text page and on the final diagram page. As in the case of American patents, they do not match. Unlike the case of American patents, they are handwritten signatures, both on the final text page and on the final diagram page. No connexion has been noted, off-the-cuff, between these and known patent agents. Such a connexion has been noted in the case of American patents.
- Witnesses (as shown on the final text page): Albert E. Parker and Francis J. Bignell, these signatures being legible and shown in type on this patent's American equivalent
- The spelling "vehicules" appears in the title as shown on the modern Canadian title page, and on espacenet and google. It is not clear that the author uses a title anywhere, and never uses that spelling, but rather the conventional "vehicle", but then it is not clear where the author put any title anywhere. For our purposes on this site I (econterms) switched to the conventional spelling in the title.
