Joseph de Pierpont de Burnot

Joseph de Pierpont de Burnot was a Belgian aero inventor, located at Destelbergen lez-Gand (that is, near Ghent), province de Flandre-Orientale, région flamande, Belgium.[1][2] Thus far we are only piecing data together on him by way of patent information. We are tracing two patent families to Belgium. Access to the RdBdI will be key to the root data on most or all this inventor's patented work. There is reason to associate the inventor's name with Belgian nobility but searches beyond aero-patents have yielded few clues. It is a complex name. Espacenet results on "de Burnot" are identical to those on "Joseph de Pierpont de Burnot".

We have him self-identified as a capitalist, magyar "tőkés".[3]

There is at least one case in which de Pierpont de Burnot purports improvement upon the work of "M. Béchereau".[4] We are looking into possible relation to the work of Louis Béchereau.
