Eugène Godard II, son of Eugène Godard, Godard family, was a well-known balloonist, decorated by various governments.

He started ballooning with his father by 1873 (age ~11) and made repeated ascents all over Europe. He made 25 ascents, day and night, during the Philippopolis exhibition (Plovdiv, Bulgaria, 1892) [1] and organized a small balloon detachment for Bulgaria.[2]

He is very possibly the Eugène Godard listed as an organizer of the International Aeronautical Congress of 1889,[3] since by this year his father had retired to Brussels, where he died in 1890.

In 1895 he made demonstrations in Lisbon and Cairo.[1]
