Philippopolis exhibition

The 1892 Philippopolis exhibition (Philippolis = Plovdiv, Bulgaria) was a general expo which included hot-air ballooning. Eugène Godard II attended, making 25 ascents and then setting up a small military detachment for the Bulgarians.[1][2][3]
