The name Kindelán gives for the unit is Compañia de Aerostación; we may want to clarify whether this is an alternate name for the Servicio Militar de Aerostación or stands in some other relation to it.
For the first ascension Rojas gives an amazing list (pp. 26–27) of instruments and supplies brought on board, including an estatoscopio (= statoscope? balloon pressure gauge?! see w:es:estatoscopio), various maps, money, and eight pigeons.
