Ascent on 14 May of the Wiener Aëro-Klub's balloon Helios.

This article has to do with the use of photometry for the purpose of scientific biology, connected with Hofrat J. Wiesner, director of plant physiology institute at the University of Vienna. Data collected from aloft, for instance dealing with the color spectrum of vegetation, can be used to make inferences about climate, ecosystems, and so forth.

The ascent was conducted for this purpose but it's not entirely clear (to this reader) what they found out.
