American Aeronaut

American Aeronaut seems to be a sort of continuation of American Aeronaut and Aerostatist; however it started over at Vol. 1 No. 1 in August 1909. Its editors were T. R. MacMechen and Carl Dienstbach, now formed into the Dienstbach-MacMechen Publishing Company at 1926 Broadway in New York.

Adding somewhat to the confusion, the paper in St. Louis started going by American Aeronaut in 1908, before the renumbering and corporate change. (Dienstbach was a leading correspondent in 1908 but not listed as one of the publishers.)

In any case, 1908 articles listed under American Aeronaut can be found here at HathiTrust; articles from August 1909 and after are here.
