Auguste Prouvost was an aero inventor, a "wire manufacturer", filing from 45, rue Saint-Sébastien, Paris, Seine; France, though we know this is the address of French patent agent Jules Mathieu.[1]
The INPI France advanced research page does at least indicate that this inventor was himself situated within Paris, regardless of address. There is strong indication that he worked extensively in marine propulsion.
