Within the French system, this is a Certificat d'addition to Patent FR-1915-502433.
This addition also makes reference to the Italian priority date 1917-03-16. The French parent makes no similar Italian reference. We have an analogous situation with Patent GB-1918-130409, which is not called an outright addition, but which explicitly builds upon Patent GB-1915-14157. There also, the later patent, filed by Federico Caproni within one national system, does make reference to an Italian patent, while the earlier patent filed, within said system, does not. However this patent family likely begins with Patent IT-1915-150227 filed by Caproni in July 1915.
