This patent, unusually, makes reference to specific models of larger airplanes (Flugzeuge), namely the Farman biplane, the Blériot "Luftomnibus", and the "große Wasserflugzeug von Curtiß". (An early use of the term Wasserflugzeug; and also cf. Blériot, 1911, The Blériot Bus. A record passenger-carrying trip of a new monoplane for a likely match to the aircraft mentioned.)
