This patent makes reference to a German patent, which was not granted (at the time of the RSdBI volume publication), but which was filed 1912-01-22. This is perhaps why this “brevet” is of the “invention” variety, within the Belgian system, rather than an “importation”. The source does go to the trouble of mentioning the German filing date, and specifically mentioning the pertinence of Convention de Paris pour la protection de la propriété industrielle, “... 20 March 1883 ...” and so forth, with which we are familiar.
