Edward Dulier was an aero inventor, a Retired Colonel of the British Army, filing from 101, Luisenstrasse, Homburg-Bain, in the Empire of Germany.[1]

We have this inventor in connexion with one invention, pertaining to wing and tail surfaces of variable lift, presumably in the precision of control. We presently only have the retired British military officer residing in Germany and filing patents in both Britain and France, with the addition being filed only in France. The addition is partially "negative" in its emphasis. It isn't indispensable that the supplementary mobile surfaces attached to the front part of the fixed lift surfaces have an incidence greater than that of the fixed surfaces. That is, the incidence of the supplementary mobile surfaces can be the same as that of the fixed surfaces or even lesser than that of those surfaces.[2] So the addition focuses specifically upon and adds the emphasis on incidence, per se, focusing on the relatively lesser degree of incidence which is allowable on the part of the crucial component of which the invention consists.
