Charles Baillod, that is, “Charles-Marie-Joseph Baillod”, was an aero inventor, engineer, variably located Paris, per se[1][2], and in Colombes[3], all within département Seine, France. He worked in collaboration with Auguste-Pierre Biais and Jean-Jules Cambou on mechanisms to control wing angles (or the angles of related control structures perhaps like ailerons, rudders, and elevators; not sure).

Relative to our data at present, Baillod was involved in all the collaborative work of Auguste-Pierre Biais and Jean-Jules Cambou, other than Patent FR-1911-436202, though it dealt with related material. Biais and Cambou were always located in Bordeaux, unlike Baillod.

Baillod's address was recorded in a 1911 patent as 8 rue Étienne Jodelle, Paris, département Seine, France.[4] His address on a 1914 patent was No. 172 rue des Aubépines, Colombes, département Seine, France.[5]
