August Riedinger

August Riedinger (9 October 1845 – 15 January 1919) was a balloon maker from Augsburg, Bavaria.

He attended Augsburg Polytechnical School and the Studium am Polytechnikum in Zurich, then went to work in his father's workshop.[1]

His company, August Riedinger Ballonfabrik Augsburg G.m.b.H., advertised locations in Mannheim, Liège, Brussels, and St. Louis.

Hungarian patent data has him as a Factory Owner (Gyártulajdonos) filing from Augsburg, Germany.[2]

This company made the first Parseval airships, in 1906.[3]
