Karl Caspar apparently built Etrich Taubes and the Edmund Rumpler variation. Hansa Flugzeugwerke merged with Brandenburgische Flugzeugwerke in July 1914, becoming Hansa und Brandenburgische Flugzeugwerke GmbH.
This firm was founded as Zentral fur Aviatik at Hamburg-Fuhlsbuttel, 1911, and renamed Hansa Flugzeugwerke, 1913. Gunston discusses it under Caspar not under a separate listing for Zentral fur Aviatik.[1][2]
