The Oberschwabischer Verein fur Luftschiffahrt or Upper Swabia Association for Aerial Navigation was founded on 18 Jan. 1909 in Ulm, Swabia, Germany. It joined the DLV on 14 or 16 Feb. 1909.

At founding, Captain Neuschler became president and the governor of Ulm, General von Uslar was honorary president. There were 285 members, including seven balloon guides. The association owned one free balloon and used the Hof der Friedenskaserne (Court of Peace barracks), Ulm, as its balloon place.
