Pierre-Marie Bournique was an aero inventor who filed a patent from the département Seine-et-Oise, France.[1]

Bornique trained in forestry like his father, then went to Montreal and Vancouver to work. He returned to Lorraine and became a celebrated early pilot. He died after a crash at Reims in 1911.[2]

There appears to be a letter from Bournique in the Tissandier papers at the Library of Congress.[3]
