Rotating fan blades provide upward propulsion when open, can serve as gyroscope when retracted, can also act as parachute; sliding seat allows operator to change center of gravity; uses: The apparatus may be employed for carrying a passenger or other load, or may be used for raising and maintaining at any desired elevation the antenna of a wireless telegraph station, or for the wireless transmission of electrical energy for any purpose, or for the discharge of electrical energy in the atmosphere, or for the purpose of raising recording instruments to ascertain the condition of the atmosphere at high altitudes.”
