Patent NL-1913-1195

This patent may or may not be aero-crucial. It has been included because it was found by way of an Espacenet search of "NL"(in the publication number field), 1900-1918(in the publication date field), and IPC or CPC=B64. This is of note in that IPC or CPC=B64 yields very close to purely aero results. IPC B64D17/00 and CPC B64D17/00 (along with a wide array of other IPC and CPC patent classifications) were added a posteriori, by either later Dutch or EPO interest-takers. It may be that this "briquetteing of solid and liquid fuels without further mixtures" may be applied to anything tangenting to fueling, or that it has been deemed relevant specifically to aeronautical fueling. CPC C10L5/22 and CPC F41A15/14 have also already been formalized within our data.

We are interested in the "B64" approach to Espacenet, which yields spectacular results as applied to FR, GB, US, and DE, for instance, with IPC and CPC classification missing altogether in the cases of AT, ES, and CH, among others. In the case of NL, this one result turned up.

Reference is incidentally made herein to Patent DE-1880-11477 and to Patent AT-1911-53540, filed by the same firm. If we follow these up, note will be taken of this patent's citing each of them. This patent is not properly "supplementary to" either of them. It is not properly a "certificate of addition".

Incidentally, the modern BPP eRegister reduces this patent's old Dutch IdT classification(as seems to be normal), in this case reducing "Klasse 10b Groep 3" to a simple "10B". This is another incidence of a patent website being driven by contemporary (to us) proprietary or other interests, with certain protocols not directly prioritizing our areas of antique interest.

In the case of this patent, "registration date" is the same as publication date, as opposed to filing date or date granted. Also, as is seemingly more common in the case of NL, publication date comes between filing and granting dates, with filing date seeming to carry great legal importance.
