Wire and rod strainers.-Means for tensioning aeroplane stay wires and rods and for facilitating dismantling of the machine consist of attachments to the lower ends of uprights, whereby their effective length can be adjusted and of extensible means, secured to the centres of the uprights, whereby the tension of stay wires and rods connected thereto can be varied.
