Collapsible aerostat made of balloon compartments connected by perforated partitions.
A similar patent filed in the US (Patent US-1891-468455) is titled "inflatable wall-tent" and describes an inflatable/collapsible cellular structure mainly for ground use. The British catalogers saw fit to include this patent under aeronautics: possibly the British patent is different or possibly they made the application to aeronautics themselves. The US patent gives us the full name and location of the inventor.
- Inventor location: London
- Inventor occupation: Engineer
