Based on our observations on patent dates, we are treating the "Patentirt im Deutschen Reiche vom" 1918-03-29 shown on this original as exactly one day after the filing date.
Fokker is most known for his monoplane, though he has a few biplane patents, this being one. He is also known for work with machine guns, and of particular interest would be a patent for his apparatus timing machine gun firing relative to propeller blade movement, allowing for direct forward firing, causing no damage to the blades.
