  • Notes: 1916-10-24 is given by Espacenet as priority date for this patent. We think this is erroneous. It is likely the filing date in Australia. It is analogous to Patent FR-1916-487534, particularly in terms of the concept behind the titles, and it is also analogous to Patent GB-1916-110407 and Patent CH-1916-89773 and Patent HU-1916-93272. Seemingly all of these are slightly more elaborate, in terms of diagrams relative to those of the neatest parent candidate, and none make explicit reference. All share substantial overlap with Patent US-1916-1208684, which in turn is a "renewal" of a 1906 filing, though likely not a mere renewal, all of this reflecting an evolving bulk of work around related principles and applications. Tentatively, we could see all of this as having "family year" 1906.
