Reply to Griffith Brewer to Orville Wright 24-Apr-1914 (ongoing discussion of affidavit for British Wright Company).
Wright insists that the rudder is still useful as a stabilizer used in conjunction with wing warping.
His opinion on international patent law, contra Brewer:
I believe patent law is pretty much the same in all countries. Harte has been considered by the German and the American courts, but was not held as anticipation by either. I think that the English court will also hold that the old paper patents, which were never built and never tried and from which nothing ever developed do not constitute anticipations.
