The Breisgau-Verein fur Luftschiffahrt or Breisgau Association for Aerial Navigation was established 1 Dec. 1908. It joined the DLV in 1908. The emphasis appears to have been on ballooning.

In 1910, Gen. D. Gaede was chairman, W. Weyermann was vice chairman, and Dr. Graff was secretary and office director. There were 285 members including 12 balloon guides. The Association owned one free balloon.
