The Augsburger Verein fur Luftschiffahrt or Augsburger Association for Aerial Navigation was founded 10 May 1901 in Augsburg, Germany. It was one of the original founding members of the the DLV on 18 Dec. 1902. At a yet unknown date, an abteilung or department was founded at Munich.

Members appear to have had access to balloons and an airship through the Augsburger Verein.
