Pfalz Flugzeugwerke built Morane-Saulnier monoplanes under license before switching in 1916 to licensed production of LFG-Roland fighter; in 1917 began production of own fighter biplanes and a triplane. Untold number of licensed aircraft and over 1,000 of own designs were produced before end of WWI.
