Aerial machines with aerostats; aerostats. - A rigid airship is constructed of a series of transverse frames supported by spokes from a central longitudinal boom and connected together at the circumference by longitudinal and spirally-arranged wires. Each section of the air-ship comprised between two consecutive transverse frames is made as a self-contained unit."
