This lays out many essential elements of "The Aëroplane", in the sense of a complete aircraft using angled airfoils and a motor. For stability Brown suggests as one possibility the use of two planes connected at a distance. This article seems to elaborate the ideas behind Brown's contemporary patent — Patent GB-1872-411 — in more depth.
