As on the British original, Patent GB-1908-17150 is cited explicitly in reference to the type of aircraft concerned: "This invention relates to bird-shaped aeroplanes and aerial machines, such for example as the Weiss type described in British Patent specifiation No. 17150, A.D. 1908, and has for its object to provide an improved form of wings or supporting planes."
