Preston Albert Watson

Preston Albert Watson was an aero inventor and pilot from Dundee, Scotland.

He gave the address: "The Retreat", 370 Perth Road, Dundee, County of Forfar, Scotland, and described himself on a patent as a Merchant. According to a biography by the Royal Air Force, his aviation work was funded by a loan from his father.[1]

Watson published a pamphlet entitled Power necessary in flight' (John Leng & Co., 1908, 19pp.)[2][3] This pamphlet appears to be extremely rare and is not listed in WorldCat.

He joined the military at the start of World War I and died in a crash due to mechanical failure in 1915.
