Now having retrieved a scan of this patent we see the inventor is not William Jacob Wilson of Birmingham, England, but in fact John Washington Wilson of Boston, Massachusetts. (The confusion in part arose from the printing of Wilson's initials in Rosenzweig's applications list, which differs from the seemingly more correct final printing.) From illustrations we can confirm the present patent is part of the large international family stemming from Patent US-1909-970771.
