"Aerostats.-Valves for gas-containers of air-ships and balloons are so constructed that they do not project from the container and can be assembled from the exterior. The valve frame consists of two or more parts 1, 2, 3 and is carried by a sleeve 6 of fabric, rubber, &c., gripped between the parts 2, 3 and secured, for example by sewing, to the container"
