This patent is the second in a pair, revising Patent DE-1913-290120 which concerns a hollow propeller shaft through which a gun can be fired. In this the shaft is modified so that the gun can also fire obliquely, outside of the range in which bullets would hit the propeller.

Two patents in the same pattern were filed internationally, in France, Great Britain, the USA, and perhaps beyond.
