« Le dispositif est constitué par deux ailes servant de gouvernails de profondeur conjugués, non portants en vol normal et pouvant prendre simultanément tous les angles d’incidence pour lesquels leurs centres de pression propre restent sur leurs axes d’oscillation. »

“The device consists of two wings serving as combined elevators, non-supporting in normal flight and able to simultaneously take all the angles of incidence for which their centers of pressure remain on their axes of oscillation.”

The Belgian data gives "de Rigaud de Saint-Aubin (J.-C.-M.-R.)" Espace applicant search results on de Rigaud de Saint-Aubin give us the fuller name elements Jacques-Charles-Marie-Rovérolis with some non-aero filing and some fine, though much later, aero-filing. Tying Jacques-Charles-Marie-Rovérolis de Rigaud de Saint-Aubin to the very substantial bulk of publications associated with Saint-Aubin would be very fine.

Ancestry.com has a "Jacques Charles Marie Roverolis de Rigaud de St Aubin", born 10 avril 1895, in Paris. This would make him just under nineteen years of age at the time of this patent's filing, which is certainly not inconceivable, and we are dealing with a complex array of name elements, which all match. For him to have done all the publications we have associated with Saint-Aubin, years earlier, is very unlikely.
