Mario Calderara

Mario Calderara (built?) a hydroaeroplane in 1912, presumably in Italy, and went on to be a well-known pilot, obtaining the first pilot's license in Italy.

Calderara corresponded with the Wright Brothers and with Cortlandt Field Bishop in 1905.[1]

Patent FR-1909-402819 is a patent filed in collaboration with fellow Italian Umberto Savoia.

Patent FR-1909-403690 is a patent filed in collaboration with French inventor Ambroise Goupy.
