James Frederick Verner was a Canadian publicist and aero inventor whom we have addressed at 18 Avoca Avenue, City of Toronto, County of York, Province of Ontario, Canada.[1]
American patent data has him assigning patent rights to the Grand Rapids Trust Company, with this trust company acting as the trustee on behalf of Mary Ellen Kenyon, Edward J. Clark, and Herman Clark Anderson.[2] An analogous situation, with the company acting on behalf of these same individuals, relative to the work of another inventor, may be seen on page Grand Rapids Trust Company. It seems that the individuals were buying up rights, in other words.
