The Ostdeutscher (East German) Automobil-Club was founded at Konigsberg in Prussia on 10 April 1905. It appears that by 1910, it had founded a Flugtechnische Kommission or Flight Technology Committee.

Georg Henrich was chairman of the Fight Technical Committee. The club itself appears to have had 84 members and met at the Hotel Deutsches Haus, Konigsburg in Prussia.
