Georges Besançon. Les "Zeppelins". 1915. Bloud et Gay, Éditeurs: 7, Place Saint-Sulpice, Paris.

Notes that while "Zeppelin" is to some synonymous with "German airship" there are actually several categories of these of which the Zeppelin is only one. (These are Parseval (flexible), Gross-Basenach (semi-rigid), and Schutte-Lanz (rigid). But these other types are less numerous than the German fleet of Zeppelins, as well as smaller and less impressive.

Besançon gives a history of Count Zeppelin's development of this type an airship, with some details of sizes and engine power.

Given the wartime context, the book describes the German fleet of Zeppelins and its capacity for producing hydrogen. It finishes with a short discussion of whether a Zeppelin could bomb Paris or other French cities, concluding that such a raid would pose a relatively small threat.
